International Robotics Olympiad Training & Competition
Held at NUS High School
from 29th November to 1st December 2006

Day One
The 8th Annual International Robot Olympiad (IRO) is to be held on the Gold Coast, Australia from December 6-8, 2006. The theme for this year's event is:
Robots save the planet! Keep our world clean and green for future generations!
The IRO is one of the oldest and largest international events in robotics. It provides a platform for students of primary, secondary and tertiary levels to develop their skills and creativeness through research, development and competition with students from other countries. The IRO also provides an exhibition-style setting for world leading robot companies to trade, promote and demonstrate their products.
The Junior League is open to Primary School students. The League consists of three events
· Stair Climbing
· Line following Maze
· Robot Survival.
The Challenge League is open to Secondary School students. The League has 3 different events.
· Stair Climbing
· Line following Maze
· Obstacle Race
Soccer-FIRA Small League MiroSot
Open to both Primary/Secondary School Students
